A beginners course with Greenbank Company of Archer is the first step in taking up this most ancient and rewarding of sports. Archery is open to everyone and the club is very proud to support archers with disabilities. Children from 8 years are welcome providing an adult (parent or guardian) is accompanying them while at the club.
All of our coaches are ArcheryGB & Cheshire Archery certified, and Greenbank Company of Archers comply with the ArcheryGB safeguarding policy which can be found here.
The beginners course is spread over 2 days with each session approx. 180 mins, all equipment provided by the club.
The course includes the following topics:
- How to set-up and take down a Bow
- Personal and Range Safety
- How to Shoot (with plenty of practise each week)
- ArcheryGB and FITA Scoring systems
- Warm up & Cool Down routines
- Rounds & Classifications

Full payment per beginner will secure your place on a beginners course, and this can be paid via a bank transfer.
If for any reason you cannot attend a booked course, full payment will be refunded, if notified within 3 days of the course starting
